According to our prediction, the best central defenders in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team (FUT) will include numerous "old masters" around Sergio Ramos and Mats Hummels.

Two of the strongest and most popular central defenders from FIFA 21 left La Liga this summer and could lead to a restructuring in the "meta-defensive" of FUT. We're talking about Raphael Varane (Manchester United), who could get a small upgrade (+1) and will become even more expensive as a Premier League defender, and Sergio Ramos, who will now work for Paris Saint-Germain.
